15 November 2016
Once again our unique and fabulous Community Workshop will hold their annual Art Exhibition. This year the theme is the ocean and it will seriously blow your senses. Enter as you will and be taken for the ride into the deep of the blue, giant mosaics, 3D felt displays, giant dream catchers, seaweed, robotics, original artworks and so much more.
Opening on Tuesday 29 November and running through until Thursday 1 December at our P – 4 Campus in Cnr Tom and Piper Street.
Leadership is an important opportunity for students, and we want to maximise the opportunities for personal learning and growth.
We have therefore put together a 9-week program where our student leaders will be asked to volunteer two hours (18 hours in total) each Wednesday morning from 9am – 11am at a Yarrawonga community-based organisation. Across the 9 weeks, students will have placement at 3 of these organisations, spending a total of 6 hours (across 3 weeks) at each. The organisations are:
- Country Buddies
- Yarrawonga Preschool
- Neighbourhood House (Years 7-8 students only)
- Woods Point
- Yarrawonga P-4 Campus
- St Vincent de Paul
