Leadership is an important opportunity for students, and we want to maximise the opportunities for personal learning and growth.
We have therefore put together a 9-week program where our student leaders will be asked to volunteer two hours (18 hours in total) each Wednesday morning from 9am – 11am at a Yarrawonga community-based organisation. Across the 9 weeks, students will have placement at 3 of these organisations, spending a total of 6 hours (across 3 weeks) at each. The organisations are:
- Country Buddies
- Yarrawonga Preschool
- Neighbourhood House (Years 7-8 students only)
- Woods Point
- Yarrawonga P-4 Campus
- St Vincent de Paul
