Enrolment Process

Yarrawonga College P – 12 is a State Government funded Prep to Year 12 facility. We provide education of the highest quality and welcome students of all year levels to join our College community.

Enrolment Form

• Enrolment applications for Foundation (Prep) have now moved online. To do this simply click here and select Register from the start of Term 2, however enquiries can be made and enrolment form online process can be instructed through our office at any time.

It would be greatly appreciated if all Prep Enrolments be completed by Friday 31st July 2026 School Readiness Program enrolment forms should also be submitted to the school by the end of July also.

• Parents will be notified of the outcome of the application in August 2026. Parents will be asked to confirm enrolment by Friday 28th August 2026.

• Our School Readiness program will run for a minimum of six weeks on Friday mornings during Term 4, followed by a morning session on the Statewide Transition Day on Tuesday 9th December.

Tours

Tours are conducted at our formal Information Sessions for Prep and Year 7. Personal tours are also welcomed and can be arranged by contacting our College to make an appointment. Upon calling, our office will request for your name, child’s name and the year level your child will be commencing at our College. This will enable the relevant Campus Principal to be contacted with your booking request.

Enrolment Interviews

For all years (except Prep) an interview with a Campus Principal is required (depending on what year your child will be commencing).

Prep to Year 4 (Kellie Thorp) / Year 5 to 8 (Georgina Thomas) / Year 9 – 12 (Jo McCarthy)

This interview is a great way for our school to get to know you and your child prior to he/she commencing. It also allows us to highlight the many opportunities we have to offer, to present our core values and the expectations we hold for all students attending our College.

School Zones

Yarrawonga College P-12’s school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.

Yarrawonga College P-12 manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.
