House Swimming remains a strong part of our College Culture
The house swimming sports for Years 7-12 remains a strong component of the College’s culture with all involved enjoying a successful carnival.
The Year 12s present were fantastic at creating a fun atmosphere and leading by example. The College staff were fantastic, completing all their roles with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Breanna Magro our sports trainee impressed with her preparatory work that ensured the success of the event.
The house completion was extremely close and students participating in both the competitive and novelty events.
Two blue ribbon events, the biathlon and sprint were hotly contested. Freyer Fletcher and Flynn Fletcher won the biathlon while Freyer won the sprint and Tim Lawerence won the sprint.
The YMCA team, led by Sandra Becker, were excellent in preparing the pool and lifeguarding for the day.
We are fortunate to have such a great relationship with eth Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club who did a fantastic job setting up the pool for the carnival.
The House and Vice Captains were brilliant in their leadership role and were crucial in supporting their house members.
As well as the age group winner’s two students were awarded a star award based on their willingness to participate and compete.
