Creative Arts & Design Technology

Creative Arts and Design Technology subjects play a vital role to play in developing an individual’s creativity, individuality and provides students with the potential to express themselves and their views on the world around them!

At Yarrawonga College P – 12 we have an extensive range of subjects that your child can experience.

From Prep your child will participate in an hour session each week with our Music Teacher and in Year 5 and 6 weekly all students attend a weekly Visual Art Class taught by a qualified Arts Teacher.

Students enter their secondary years with the opportunity to experience a range of creative technology subjects including; Music, Art, Visual Communication, Drama, Media, Digital Technologies, Metal Work, Wood Work, Textiles, Food Technology.

VET options that are available to students from Year 10 and above including:

Music (Performance), Hospitality, Building and Construction, Engineering.

Students also wishing to further their musical skill have the opportunity to participate in an Instructional Music program.
